Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn was born in America and is an actress who has performed professionally for 27 years. Thespian Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been working professionally over the last 27 years. She began her career in the year 1990 with an off Broadway production called The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. In the following year she was offered her first television role, The Perfect Tribute. Her biggest break in her professional career happened in 1992, as she was a role in the movie Basic Instinct. In The Firm, she played the lead female role for the very first time. She was cast opposite Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. Through the 90s Gwyneth worked with Hugh Grant on Mickey Blue Eyes as well as Julie Andrews for Relative Values.
